According to Google, the issue began around 10:52 AM IST. At 11:30 AM IST, Google confirmed that they were aware of the problem and had started investigating it.
Google said, “There’s an ongoing issue affecting many Android users. We’re identifying the root cause. We will give updates within 12 hours.” Although the company has made some progress in stabilizing the system, the problem remains unresolved for some users.
Google Provides Temporary Solutions
While Google continues to work on fixing the app search crash, they have provided temporary solutions. Officials have prompt users to clear the app cache and data. If you are also affected with the same issue, you can do that through the phone’s settings. This way you can restore the app’s functionality.
